Before knowing about the craziest places you should be known about what a lovely world we inhabit. The waves’ cerulean hues. The mountains’ soaring heights all reflect the wonder of the world in every nook and cranny. It is simple to overlook the fact that Earth is provided with a variety of natural features. That not only support our existence but also look fairly fantastic. That said, it’s also quite strange.

These natural wonders exist almost beyond comprehension. Lakes aren’t supposed to be pink, beaches aren’t supposed to be black, mountains aren’t supposed to be rainbow-coloured and caves aren’t supposed to glow, but you’ll find all this and more in our collection of the weirdest craziest in the world.

    1. Jervis Bay, Australia

The world’s whitest sandy beach is located in Jervis Bay, Australia, although tourists don’t come here for the snow-like sand. Okay, some do, but the majority flock to this oceanic bay’s 102 square kilometres for the enchantment that happens at night. Masses of plankton sparkle in the dark and offer the water in Jervis Bay one of the few sites on earth where humans may witness the miracle of bioluminescence. These are noctiluca, or perhaps the more appropriate term would be “sea sparkle,” and the light is produced by a chemical reaction that causes agitation and vibration, which in turn creates the glow. The warmer months are when bioluminescence is most frequently observed, however, it can happen at any time of year in Jervis Bay.

    2. Spotted Lake, Canada

Canada’s Spotted Lake, also known as Kliluk to First Nations people, is hidden away in British Columbia and looks like something out of a science fiction movie. This tiny body of water is rich in a variety of minerals, including major amounts of calcium and sodium sulphates and trace levels of silver and titanium. The Spotted Lake gets its name from a peculiar collection of deposits that are left behind as the water evaporates in the summer. The deposits are indeed walkable in the summer, but good luck getting rid of the nagging notion that something might suddenly spring out.

    3. Danakil Depression, Ethiopia

Aliens are present here if they are on Earth. Three tectonic plates diverged, creating the Danakil Depression in Ethiopia, a weirder-than-weird natural wonder that is home to lava lakes, acidic springs, and more. It truly is referred to as the “hottest place on the planet.” Temperatures in the summer can rise to 55 degrees Celsius due to geothermal activity.

    4. Zhangye Danxia, China

Although it’s simple to convince one’s self that the Zhangye Danxia mountains in China are a picture, this stunning landscape is actually very, very real. Although it took roughly that long for China to pay much attention to it. The hues are the result of the irrational motions of mineral deposits over millennia. The good news is that many observation decks provide guests with incredible views without destroying the environment.

    5. Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland

The Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland is said to have existed during the reign of Fionn Mac Cumhaill.  A giant tasked with protecting his territory from the terrifying Benandonner. According to the myth, Fionn chose to confront the challenge head-on and constructed this causeway to approach his adversary, though the tale diverges in many different directions after that. 40,000 basalt columns protruding into the North Atlantic Ocean, framed by towering hills and a subdued ocean, is one of the world’s most unusual sights, regardless of its origins.

    6. Lake Hillier, Australia

While we wouldn’t ever declare ourselves to be authorities in limnology, we do know enough about lakes to understand that they aren’t often pink. Not even bright bubblegum pink, but pink nonetheless—that is the colour of Lake Hillier, a saline lake on Middle Island in Western Australia. If you could actually get in the water, you could swim in this amazing scene that is made by algae, halobacteria, and other creatures. Though the ideal option for transportation is essentially scenic flights. It isn’t the simplest to go to the craziest place in the world.

    7. Tianzi Mountains, China

There is little doubt that these mountains’ peaks are not typical. The Tianzi Mountains in China have peaks that resemble something out of a dystopian novel—a post-apocalyptic world where the sole goal is to survive. This may sound theatrical, but the drama is heavily influenced by these jaw-droppers, which can be found in Zhangjiajie in the Hunan Province. Zhangjiajie is close to the mountains, yet to fully appreciate them, you really need to be a bird.

    8. Green Bridge of Wales

Anywhere they occur, whether in the Utah desert or the Bosnian and Herzegovina mountains. Natural arches are strange and the craziest place in the world. Craziest places in the world there is something exquisitely delicate about the Green Bridge of Wales. Which is emphasised by the peaceful tranquilly of the Pembrokeshire shore and that singular feeling of poetry that emanates from this small country. Call beforehand to confirm that can reach the arch because it is situated in the Castlemartin military district.

    9. Darvaza Gas Crater, Turkmenistan

You’d better put on your skates if you’ve always wanted to go to the Gates of Hell. Turkmenistan intends to close its Darvaza gas crater soon, though not the literal gates of hell. Those will have to wait till after death. Visitors have rushed to this location in droves in order. To see the crater’s burning for decades, which has produced one of the world’s most vivid pictures. Nobody truly knows how it started, but we can only presume Beelzebub played a role in it.

    10. Rainbow River, Colombia

The name kind of gives it away. The Rainbow River in Colombia is an astounding display of colour that must be seen to be believed. Okay, so its official name is Cao Cristales. This liquid rainbow is filled with hues of red, yellow, purple, and green. It flows spectacularly through the Serrana de la Macarena National Park. The colours change depending on the light. Due to the Macarenia clavigera plants that grow along the riverbed, red predominates. The numerous waterfalls enhance what is already a breathtaking scene and the craziest places in the world.
